Day 1: Welcome Programme, Presentations, Departmental & Facilities Visit, Luncheon Meeting, Stakeholder Interaction and Cultural Programme

The visit commenced with a welcoming programme, followed by a presentation by the Principal outlining the institution’s vision, mission, key achievements, and future plans. Departmental presentations highlighted academic and research contributions, student development initiatives, and faculty achievements.

The Peer Team then visited the administrative and accounts sections to evaluate institutional governance and financial management. Visits to various institutional cells, including the Anti-ragging Cell, Women’s Cell, and Internal Complaint Committee, provided insights into the support mechanisms available for students and staff.

A significant portion of the day was devoted to inspecting laboratories, classrooms, the history museum, library, hostels, and sports amenities to assess their adequacy, functionality, and upkeep. A luncheon meeting was organised with the Peer Team members, IQAC members, the institution head, government and university representatives, and BCM representatives, facilitating an open discussion. Later, the team engaged in interactions with key stakeholders, including parents, alumni, students, and staff. The day concluded with a vibrant cultural programme presented by students, showcasing the institution’s emphasis on holistic development and extracurricular excellence.

Day 2: Facilities Evaluation, Report Writing and Exit Meeting

The second day focused on further assessment of campus facilities, including hostels and the solid waste management site. The team also visited the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) office to review its initiatives and processes. This was followed by the Peer Team’s report writing.

The visit concluded with an exit meeting where the team shared preliminary feedback with the institution’s management, commending their efforts in fostering academic excellence and offering suggestions for further improvement.
